About our clubs events
We host a large Tidewater Tug Championship event every summer around August in which we have three classes of tugs competing in various size ranges.  We have had people from California and Canada come to compete for the large trophy and plaques and all have a great time with excellent food afterwards.  The courses that one has to run test your skill as a captain running against the clock, plus an obstacle course testing your navagation skills along with a static competetion on how well your tug boat looks compared to the real ones.  We also display and run our boats at the Sandpoint Wooden Boat Show July 14, 2012.
