About Spokane Model Boat Club
Our club has boats ranging from work boats such as tugs and barges, pleasure boats, sailboats, military naval boats including working submarines. Our smallest boats are Springer push tugs at 12 inches and our biggest boats are 9 foot battleships. We have quite a few one meter sail boats with competetion races being held at Silver Lake and smaller pond sailer races hosted at Avista Reflection Pond. Most of our club outings are held on Sundays starting around 10AM weather permitting at Avista Co. at 1411 E. Mission, with the only exception of the larger sail boat racing at Silver Lake.
